Cardinal Newman High School Former Ursuline HS Artistic & Nature Photography Contact Dirk

Dirk Bietau has enjoyed taking photographs all his life. In May of 2002, an opportunity arose to become the photographer at Cardinal Newman High School in Santa Rosa, California. During his first year, Dirk took more than 5,500 photographs in the field of “Capturing That Perfect Moment In Time”. Over the years Dirk has supplied most of the photographs used in the Cardinal Newman school magazine “Trinity” and the many schools’ sports programs. In addition, Dirk’s pictures have appeared in Ursuline’s “Focus”, and the “La Dolce Vita” program of Sonoma Country Day School. More recently, Cardinal Newman’s website has also incorporated Dirk’s best photos.

Fundraising events are enhanced with professional photography on-site. Dirk covers the semi-annual Big Event fundraisers for CN, as well as the annual spring golf-tournament. Photos from these events can be seen in the school magazine “Trinity”, as well as on the Cardinal Newman website.
